Last weekend

Well, we spent all day yesterday running around getting various tests done. All good news, in terms of the baby's health - he passed everything with flying colors. We did get one bit of news - he's quite big - so it looks like those "newborn" sized clothes may not even fit him when he gets here! We saw pictures of his face on the sonogram, and he looked like he had nice pudgy cheeks.

We tried acupuncture again, but at this point, I'm settling in for the likelihood of a medical induction Monday morning. We'll go to the hospital at 7:30 am and stay all day. There's a possibility that they will send us home after 8 hours or so and tell us to come back Tuesday morning for the rest of it. Bottom line: by Wednesday, we'll have a baby, one way or another.

This weekend, they told me the most important thing to do is rest, so I'm taking it easy, napping and going for walks. Most of the snow has melted and it's nice out today. We could get more snow tomorrow, though.
