The new bed
We're still surprised at how smoothly this transition went, but why not? How cute is this bed? We read "Elmo gets a new bed", and Zack seemed to know what to expect. He watched Nathan take the crib apart and told me he could sleep on the floor. (awww!) When we brought him back in to see the assembled new bed, his face just lit up. He ran over, climbed in, looked up and said "You can see the stars!". Then he jumped out and assessed , "Zack is a big boy!". Indeed. About half an hour later, he climbed in and took a huge nap. Seems to have worked.
These pictures below are from Zack's gym class. He loves to do somersaults (still needs a little push to get his legs over), walk on the balance beam, hang from bars, and just run! It's a great way to burn off energy in the winter time.

What fun to pick up my iPhone this morning just before work and see these delightful pictures. I love Zack's new bed with the stars up above. The whale pictures reminds me of Picasso's Peace Dove sketch. The shots at the gym class are magazine ready with their colorful backdrop. The Dulles Airplane Museum is amazing. I hope we get a chance to see that before long. Zack, of course, is the most amazing of all. Thanks for sharing these wonderful new experiences from his almost 3 year old world. We'll be there to see for ourselves soon. Can't wait. Grandmommy
