Will it really soak my mittens if I stick my hands up the drainpipe?

Zack loves to play in the snow now. He asks hopefully for "boots? mimmens?" (mittens) when we go outside. We read the book "A Snowy Day" and when he walks in the snow, he says "Crunch, crunch, crunch!"
