First Steps!
What a morning - we were hanging out in Zack's room before Nathan went to work and Zack was standing by himself, as he's been doing for longer and longer times, when all of a sudden, he took a little step. We got super quiet and just stared, and he took another little one, and then one step to the side before sittting down. It was almost a box step. Incredible! Walking around all day yesterday bent over with him holding my fingers seems to be paying off. All this time, I worried that I'd miss his first steps at day care. Nice of him to have waited for me to be home.
So we're having a stellar week. Better than last week and better than Sunday, which began with Zack throwing up on my shirt and ended with me throwing up on my shirt. Different shirt. We've switched Zack to the lactose-free milk (like his Daddy), and I'm advising people to avoid the take out salmon at Whole Foods.

Zack,
You have no idea how many of us are following you and celebrate this "step forward". Two steps for Zack and one step for the whole clan. Cel-le-brate...come on! What fun to hear about your giant leap forward. Can't wait to see your walking for myself next week. Looks like we'll get a glimpse of a few cherry blossoms to boot. Happy days are about to be here again. ---Grandmommy
Good job, big boy!
Next thing you know he'll be dancing.
