The Big Christmas
We had a great time in Florida. My folks ensured that Zackie had the biggest Christmas imaginable, turning their whole house into a giant child-safe playground. There's a reason we started calling the living room "Santa's workshop"! Zackie loved his presents, and paid special attention to anything wrapped in tissue paper, which was a big treat. (Note to self: next year, just wrap up boxes of crumpled tissue paper.)
We loved having a week in warm weather, and so much time together with family. Stephen and Noga came and stayed for a whole week too, and showed us pictures of their recent trip to Vietnam.
My Mom has posted some great pictures of Christmas activities and decorations (although you really would have had to see the house to believe it). We also made the first trip to the beach with Zack - I'll have to find pictures of that to post. He loved playing with the sand and crawling on the beach. He was less thrilled about the water - when I tried to put him down to dip his feet in the surf, he just pulled his knees up to his chest as I lowered him, to keep his toes out of the cold water (how did he know?).
