Rainy weekend

It's still raining here, so we're mostly staying inside. Yesterday, we tried an afternoon outing to Baja Fresh for burritos, but it proved to be too much for Zack. He got overheated in the carseat, and when we got caught in rush hour stop-and-go traffic on the way home, he wasn't happy. We ended up pulling over in a parking lot to change his diaper. When we got home, he was all wound up and threw up his feeding. The whole evening is a blur.

In any case, he's feeling better today - good eating, sleeping and active-alert time. We even had a happy bath! I put the infant tub in the bottom of our tub and crouched down in there with him. I covered him with a warm wet washcloth, and he seemed to like that. He doesn't like to be uncovered. At the end, we rinsed him under the faucet and slipped him into a terrycloth onesie. You can't believe how great he smells.

Tomorrow's ambitious goals include buying refills for the Diaper Genie and more diapers.
